So I finally took the plunge and bought an Ipad 2 this week. Kept it for 2 days and then realized that it really doesn’t do as much as my laptop does, even though it might look prettier. You know you have a problem when you are spending your time trying to find an app that will actually be a reason to keep the $500+ grown-up toy. Unfortunately, I’m also a realist and before I end up like countless others with a nice shiny screen that’s past the 14 day return mark, that I’m looking to sell on Ebay or Craigslist, back it went today.
Sorry Apple. After the MacBook Air purchase that I can dual boot, and the Apple TV that I can stream from the Homserver, unfortunately the ipad goes back.
